Features and aims of the course<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The course aims to train highly qualified professionals with remarkable design skills in the most advanced fields of automation and IT systems, such as non-linear control, mechatronic, and robotic system control, distributed computing infrastructures and systems, data management and advanced data analysis, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Students will have the possibility to opt for specific, specializing study plans or for more interdisciplinary ones. Technical skills and organizational-managerial knowledge are acquired alongside one another, so as to provide students with the ability to understand the close relationship between information and automation technologies and organizational innovation.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nThis type of education meets the cultural, professional and working needs of the modern “information society”, in which information and automation technologies play, and will continue to play, a central role in redesigning all aspects of people\u2019s lives as well as in the development of economic activities. It prepares professional figures, highly requested on the global market, and enables them to keep up with technological development, or even to determine its path by joining research facilities or laboratories.<\/span><\/div>\n

\n [vc_column_text]The Course offers wide freedom of choice among many highly specialized subjects, letting students put together a study plan tailored to their interests and professional needs. Notably, the following training options are available:<\/p>\n

– a highly interdisciplinary course, in which the student is free to choose both from the computer engineering sector and from the automation sector;<\/p>\n

– a course oriented towards computer engineering, in which the student can customize the study plan and with about 90% of lessons dealing with specific computer science topics;<\/p>\n

– a course oriented towards automation engineering, in which the student can customize the study plan and with about 90% of lessons dealing with specific automation science topics.<\/p>\n
