Obiettivi formativi:
  • Il presente progetto si prefigge di studiare li lieviti coinvolti nei processi di trasformazione degli alimenti in genere e nelle bevande fermentate in particolare. A tale scopo i lieviti verranno studiati utilizzando sia metodi di microbiologia classica sia quelli molecolari. Obiettivi formativi:
  • Gli studenti vedranno alcune delle tecniche di microscopia più avanzata, disponibili nei laboratori di ricerca di base, per lo studio di preparatiistologici umani e/o di colture cellulari. Saranno quindi presentati vari livelli di indagine microscopica che includono quella ottica, elettronica,confocale (con la possibilità di ricostruzioni 3D) e la microscopia spettrale. In particolare quest'ultima sarà analizzata nel contesto dell'individuazione e caratterizzazione di microplastiche ambientali potenzialmente internalizzate in organi e tessuti.

Obiettivi formativi:
  • L’attività di tirocinio permetterà di misurare gli effetti molecolari, biochimici e cellulari dei contaminanti emergenti negli organismi bioindicatori marini. Si approfondiranno le tematiche di inquinamento ambientale, utilizzo degli organismi bioindicatori, fondamenti di biologia cellulare. Lo studente eseguirà tecniche di preparazione del tessuto biologico attraverso omogenizzazione, centrifugazione e allestimenti istologici.  Le analisi in cui verrà coinvolto lo studente saranno di microscopia, spettrofotometria e gas cromatografia.

Obiettivi formativi:
  • L’esercitazione permetterà di estrarre i pigmenti fotosintetici da diversi organismi capaci di fotosintesi ossigenica e, in seguito all’analisi del loro spettro di assorbimento, di ipotizzare quale sia il gruppo sistematico da cui si sono evolute le piante terrestri. Si potranno dunque approfondire la fotosintesi, la storia evolutiva del mondo vegetale e l’uso della spettrofotometria nella ricerca.
