The main objective of the course is to train engineers to plan, design, implement, and manage civil engineering works and buildings and to operate in the sector of environmental protection from natural and man-made hazards.
Moreover, thanks to a traineeship at Bodies, Companies, or Universities, students will approach the labour market, acquire design skills, and develop the ability to conduct complex experiments, as well as to interpret their results.
The following typical subjects will be taught in the first year:
Subjects taught in the second year are focused on structures (e. g. bridges, structural rehabilitation, land consolidation) and infrastructures (e.g. airports, advanced materials, hydraulic and marine engineering works).
Job opportunities:
Thanks to the excellent relationship between professors and students, as well as to equipped classrooms, students are oriented and assisted during the entire study path.
Through laboratories, on-site visits, structures, and installations, students will have the opportunity to learn to design, build, and manage civil engineering works.
This course professors are involved in crucial international research groups and give to the worthiest students the opportunity to do a traineeship (either before or after graduation) in foreign companies and research centres.
