Economics and Management is a master’s degree course of a business economics nature which aims to train top managers, entrepreneurs and freelancers capable of operating within companies and organizations of any size and operating in any sector.
The course is divided into three highly professionalising curricula:
The degree course provides specialized preparation which includes a body of highly vertical and differentiated economic-business teachings based on the chosen curriculum. The training offer is completed by legal, mathematical-statistical, economic and historical-sociological courses which contribute to providing broader skills, necessary for the management of complex organizational contexts such as the current ones.
Particular attention is paid to the skills necessary for the management of digitalisation processes for which specific teachings structured in laboratory form are foreseen.
The training offer has profoundly differentiated traits depending on the curriculum chosen.
CFO and controlling manager: training is focused on issues related to corporate finance, strategic control, risk management systems and multidimensional performance measurement.
Marketing and sales managers: training is centered on topics related to business strategies, digital marketing, business marketing, sales analytics and e-commerce systems.
Business and financial consultant: training is focused on issues related to company and corporate asset valuation, ordinary and extraordinary financial statements, corporate and behavioral finance and crisis management systems.
Alongside the courses defined on the basis of the specific peculiarities of the chosen curriculum, there are courses which aim to provide students with transversal skills useful for all professional profiles, such as those relating to the management of personal relationships, the development of leadership skills and team building or the definition of the company business model and business plan.
Particularly relevant are the laboratory activities chosen by the student which aim to provide practical skills relating to the most important ongoing digitalisation processes, such as those linked to the implementation and use of business intelligence and corporate performance management systems, to enterprise resource planning systems, marketing automation and web metrics for the analysis of marketing results.

The course presents a highly vertical and professionalizing training offer, tailored to the needs of companies and organizations, which combines technical skills with soft skills, fundamental for those who intend to operate with managerial functions within any organizational context.
The presence of laboratory activities chosen by the student allows for the provision of practical skills focused on the management of digitalisation processes, which are particularly useful in the world of work. The good student/teacher ratio that characterizes the course of study ensures quality training based on strong interaction.
The use of innovative teaching methods such as case studies, business games and project work guarantees training that places students in a position to be able to learn to manage, already during their studies, complex decision-making processes to be ready to deal effectively the challenges of modern organizational contexts.
