Graduates of the course in Medicine and Surgery will be able to work as physicians in a variety of roles and different clinical, healthcare and biomedical facilities. Graduates of this course are also eligible for admission to the Medical Schools of Specialization.
The course prepares graduates to work as general practitioners – (ATECO-CODE 184.108.40.206.0).
This degree course has a practical and vocational approach (AFP) from the 1st to the 6th year with a combination of classwork, laboratory activities and extensive hands-on clinical experience. The latter increases as students go through the course.
In order to become registered and licensed physicians, students need to complete a Clinical Placement (TPVES) and pass a national exam.
The course offers Erasmus projects as part of our exchange programmes.
We are presently working on the development of a new Medicine Degree Course which will be delivered in the English language.
